All heat is not created equal. That’s why La Maiena offers you the choice of so many saunas and sauna experiences. To bring you even more variety, our sauna masters hold daily relaxation and event Aufguss sessions and guided body-scrub sessions in the steam bath. Magnificent!

New “Bella Vista” Aufguss sauna

Temperature: 90 °C. Our new panoramic sauna truly is hot stuff: Beautiful, large, and boasting breathtaking views over the rooftops of Meran, with a semi-circular bench arrangement to guarantee that there are only best spots. Twice a day we hold guided sauna Aufguss sessions here, including, to name but a few, a smudging ritual with singing bowls, relaxation Aufguss sessions and special Aufguss sessions with a host of surprises in store.

Mountain sauna
  • Temperature: 90 °C,
  • Humidity: 6-15 %.

The purists’ sauna, with so much peace and no Aufguss rituals.

Organic herb sauna
  • Temperature: 60 °C,
  • Humidity: 40 %.

Fresh herbs infused in warm water: If you don’t like your saunas overly hot, this is the one for you.

Aromatic herb steam room
  • Temperature: 40 °C,
  • Humidity: 100 %.

Where clouds of warm mist envelop you in relaxation – complete with a guided scrub session every day, for silky, soft skin.

Infrared cabin

Deep heat for deep relaxation. The infrared cabin also boosts the immune system, stimulates the metabolism and keeps colds at bay.

Ice fountain to cool down

Rubbing ice on your skin is more than just a wonderfully refreshing sensation: it also strengthens the immune system and boosts the circulation.

Open-air plunge pool

The new open-air plunge pool brings you an icy-cold cool down, and adds the perfect crowning finale to a sauna session.

Children’s sauna

From 12 to 3 pm, children can use all saunas (except the Bella Vista).
