You can relax indulgently with a picnic on one of the lush green pastures or with an apple strudel in one of the inns after your hike.  During the cold months Monte San Vigilio/Vigljoch is a popular destination for winter and snowshoe hikes – perfectly idyllic.

  • The Marlengo/Marling high-altitude trail: this moderately difficult, 4 to 5-hour hike leads you from farm to farm directly from our hotel and provides you with views into the distance over the entire Burggrafenamt district.
  • Flatscherhof mountain inn: you reach the hotel’s own mountain inn after about half an hour’s walk  – this kind of hiking near Meran is really fun!
  • Laghi di Sopranes/Spronser Seen: this hike is suitable for experienced, sure-footed active holidaymakers. Here you are rewarded with an unparalleled view of the region’s most stunning mountain tops while hiking near Merano/Meran.
